Israel and Obama.
February 1, 2016 12:59 pm

Since this speech was made,Obama has givin more financial and Military aid to Israel than any U.S. president for Israel. The US and Israel military work together .Obama is the only Predident who has a Sedar every year in the White House.

What a wonderful way to make a point. A very important point. To the President. To the world a large. Thank you. Rabbi. Thank you.

Wonderful”

May 19, 2013 6:37 am

That’s it!Rabbi Lau is right. In the thirtees nobody wanted to know about the seriousness of the problem-Hitler became the Man of the World by Time magazine in 1934!
In 1945 the liberators could have liberated the camps much before…they did not.
And now?Similar indifference, vagueness…giving time to enemies for preparations. The attitude of int.comm.repeats itself.Even Netanjahu’s speech at UN is not enough to shake up the world.

praying for Peace worldwide, Rabbi Lau’s speech should be broadcast daily in every country so the truth be delivered.

Rabi Lau four words : "don't be to late"
May 6, 2013 6:43 am

My four words : “don’t count on him “and never forget :
“SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM”

President Obama - we cannot afford you to be one moment late on the Iranian threat!
April 29, 2013 1:38 pm

Kol HaKavod, Rabbi Lau! Outstanding!

Honor men of faith.
April 26, 2013 8:38 pm

Let’s trust and be happy for powerful men such as these and trust that their words will be honored with full purpose of conscience. If the Rabbi speaks such kind words to President Obama, let us back him up and be so kind ourselves to the President. Can we pray for them all. They need our prayers.

Where is the rest of World Jewery -

Remarkable words from a great man. Are there any others out there?

Rabbi's smartness
April 24, 2013 4:16 pm

Lau was perfect….
Obama will not forget it…even if he wants…!

From Italy
April 24, 2013 12:16 pm

My grandfather told me many stories about what happened during WW II: German people trampled the rights of poor Italian people, like they made in Holland, France, Poland, etc.
In 1943 U.S. Army started from the South of Italy liberating our Country from Germans. In April 1945 we were free!
We must always say THANKS AMERICA and we’ll never forget

Thank you Rabbi Lau for your plea to Obama. Let us hope that the US will help the IDF destroy ALL the iranian nuke sites before it is too late! Nothing short of military destruction may stop the iranians from bringing about the next “final solution”.

Good.
April 20, 2013 1:47 pm

Truth cannot by its nature be politically correct although the Rabbi managed to put it clearly most correctly….let us all hope that truth and clarity prevail, even in the most muddled brains.

When morality and politics meet, what happens?
April 20, 2013 3:43 am

I am continually amazed at the restraint, politeness and humility and understatedness with which men like Lau present their case, in light of the horrors they have seen and endured. I hate to say it, but like some others in the prior posts, I think the speech was wasted on the likes of Obama. He is a cool, calculating, narcissistic and driven politician with a heart of stone. Despite any religious sentiments he may express, it is all Machiavellian; the only God he truly worships is himself. He and his ilk are steadily moving the US in the direction of… Read more »

Rav Lau should be the next President of Israel. If not for anti-semitism, he would probably qualify for a Nobel Peace Prize or Secretary General of the UN. What a tzadik!

Thank you

Rabbi
What a fantastic message delivered beautifully.
Thank you

Not sure how the USA President is an issue here
April 13, 2013 6:34 pm

Shouldn’t Netanyahu be the one to listen and take it to heart? Lau has said in the past that he can accept paths to peace for the region with Israel which essentially got the conservatives all up in arms, and Bibi continues to say he’ll work for peace but directs government as if in a constant state of war. Fear keeps conservatives in power in Israel, but that seems quite opposed to what the Rabbi was just offering.

Obama is early in encouraging a second Holocaust that Muslims around the world are desiring in the Middle East although they deny that Holocaust in Europe ever happened. It is Qur’an and other Islamic teachings, which as a supremacist ideology similar to supremacist Nazi ideology, including a delusional Jew hatred which is the ROOT cause of terrorism and violence around the world. When Muslims stop teachings their children to hate the Jews and Christians, there will be a possibility for peace in the middle East. Everything else is a delusion based on Muslim lies and wishful thinking of the Jews.… Read more »

Rabbi Lau’s generous spirit and words of compassion give all of us hope that the good people of the world can persevere. The young boy at Buchenwald who said kaddish for his parents under the guidance of the American chaplain/rabbi would have made his parents proud as he has all of us. May his words continue to reach all of us and give us hope.

the best candidate for the next President of Israel

So well spoken
March 24, 2013 12:12 am

So emotional I am crying

Too late.
March 23, 2013 11:49 pm

After such a brilliant and moving speech (did Obama wipe a tear?) he ended in asking for help to bring peace. Unfortunately, that word means different things to the speaker and to the President. Had Rabbi Lau only said, that now, just as in the forties, there is a nation openly stating a goal of our annihilation. “Please, Mr. President, don’t be too late.”

sharp.
