After great reviews and seen by over 7,500 people in Montreal, the "Exodus" show has now been released on video.
After showing to over 7,500 children, and a great response from Shluchim and Jewish community members in Montreal, the "Exodus" show has now been released on video.
Produced under the auspices of the Chai Center, the Living Legacy in Montreal created the unique show depicting the story of Pesach using multimedia presentations along with live actors.
"Exodus," produced and directed by Dovid Weinbaum and Zalman Glassner, portrays the story of the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt as described in the Torah, and allows children to experience it for themselves, explains Living Legacy director Pini Gniwisch.
"The show makes the story of Pesach come alive for children, helping them experience the holiday in a real way," he says.
The show touched many of the thousands who viewed it, Gniwisch says. "While in the airport terminal recently, a flight attendant asked me if I am 'Rabbi Pini,' and told me that because her son learned to bake Matzah at the Matzah baking demonstration I gave at the Exodus show, her entire family began to celebrate Passover," he says.
Now with the video release, children and families around the world can experience the same excitement of the story of Pesach, watching as it comes alive through specially filmed footage of the live action performance.
