Over the past few weeks, students of Bais Rivkah Elementary School in Crown Heights have been working very hard in preparation for the auspicious day of Yud Shvat.
The girls have been adding extra learning time to their already packed learning day. Their morning began with the study of Bosi Legani, the maamar the Rebbe traditionally said on this day.
They were rewarded for their work, when they came Monday morning to school at the Campus Chomesh building on Lefferts Avenue.
A group of dedicated mothers, led by PTA head Mrs. Mirit Hershkop, have transformed entrance, staircase and hallways into Hashem's magnificent garden, packed with bouquets of mitzvos.
Joining Hershkop in the effort were Mrs. Chana Pinson, Mrs. Ruchie Lieberman, Mrs. Lizzie Rosenberg, Mrs. Chanie Rimler, Mrs. Devorah Glick, Mrs. Rivkah Putter and Mrs. Alyson Feldman.
Staff and students thanked the dedicated PTA for this project, along with many other important projects such as Tzivos Hashem, run entirely by volunteer Mrs. Devorah Leah Hershkop, the students'education is enhanced.
