You are correct, Reb Moshe Karlevitzer was his older brother, Reb Moshe was a derhoibener yid and a rosh yeshiva in the underground yeshiva which is when he was arrested, Hhe passed away at 33 and left to baby daughters, Doba Furst from holland and Chaya Uminer from Crown Heights. Reb Berel was his younger brother and they had the three sisters.
They were a very special family and he was the last one left.

Reb Benzion Rubinson his wife Soro |" had six children
three daughters: Rivka, Rochel & Lea, & three sons Avraham, Moshe & Dovber (Berel).
Rivka (R'Yehoshua Korf) Rochel(R'Mordechai Hersh ) Leah (the legendary R' Mendel Futerfas)
R' Benzion Rubinson's family was a very prestigious family
He was considered a rich man in that town Karalevitz He had an open home. A shul in his House where they davened there. The Yeshiva Bochrim use to 'essen teg' ( ) in their home. They also had a Mikva . Visitors who came to Korolevitz always wanted to stay in Rubinson's House.
When the War broke out and everybody tried to flee here & there not knowing where to go. My Zeide " with his family with 'his son Avraham wife and two children' were with their horse & cart (the only transportation they could get hold of) left the town. When they saw what was going on in the streets. They turned back to their house. Then my Mother discovered that they all were murdered by the Germans Yimach shmom vzichrom.
My Uncle Berl helped out his brother-in-law R'Mendel Futerfas in helping families to get out of Russia as polish citizens and for his efforts he was jailed for 8 years..He was a very special man. So frum, so gentle, so kind, so eidel, Goldener mench.
They don't make them any more. He was an accountant and when he reached retirement age. They made him stay even for a half a day. But they would not let him go because he was so honest and so unassuming very rare you find such people.
My aunt Klara was very special. When she lived in Russia. Her father was in one prison and her husband was in another prison in different places. She use to travel every day to bring kosher food for her father and in a different place for her husband. She did that for eight years. They did not liberate them a day earlier.
When Aunt Klara settled in israel and married off her children.
I went to visit her and admired her. A real Tzadekes.
She used to bake 12 Challas every week. I asked her what she need 12 small challas every week.? She said she gives them out to people who need them.
For Shabbos she had one special suit. which she always wore on Shabbos. It was her Shabbos suit.
For Krias Hatora, she stood the whole time.
I saw on her table wine in a Vodka bottle I asked what is this she said this bottle the Rebbe held it in his holy hand so I have on my Shabbos table.
He was the last Zeidener Yid of this very special generation. He will be sorely missed. They should be Gutte Betters for their families Bnei Yisrael and Klal Yisrael. My aunt Klara with her determination will speed up the coming of Moshiach NOW
