After a program initiated by the students, Shiur gimmel of Yeshivas Lubavitch of Monsey traveled to Israel for an incredible Yom Tov.

A program initiated and planned by bochurim in shiur Gimmel of Yeshivas Menachem Mendel Lubavitch of Monsey culminated in the entire class enjoying a trip to Israel for the holiday of Shavuos.

The project, which encouraged students' participation in classes and extra-curricular programs, was started by a few proactive bachurim in shiur gimmel, who hope to show a good example to the bochurim of the rest of the classes in the Yeshiva.

Wasting no time at all, the students took part in the Mivtza, which consisted of each bachur being obligated to come to seder on time ready to learn, having 100 percent participation during classes, along with other extra curricular activities such as chitas, Rambam, mikva, ma’amarim and sichos, all enforced by a point system.

The Mivtza began two weeks before the end of the zman for Pesach and went on until Shavuos.

Each bachur in shiur gimmel was successful, and the Mivtza sent eleven bachurim and two mashgichim to Israel for ten days, celebrating yom tov in Yerushalayim. Each day of the trip was packed with tremendous amounts of planned fun in a chassidishe environment.
