The Rebbe Knew My Thoughts

Rabbi Yosef Leizerson, chair of the independent religious education system in Israel, recently recounts a story of the Rebbe's Ruach Hakodesh.

A fascinating relationship between the Rebbe and Rabbi Yosef Leizerson, the Chairman of Chinuch Atzmai (the independent religious education system in Israel), was just discovered in a recent interview for JEM’s My Encounter with the Rebbe project.

In the interview, Rabbi Leizerson talks about his extensive relationship that he had with the Rebbe for over 20 years! He first met the Rebbe in the 1970s when he came to the Rebbe to discuss a variety of issues in Israel’s education system.

Over the years, Rabbi Leizerson held a wide range of jobs, ranging from the System Administrator for "Agudas Yisroel", to the various public functions as a member of the Jerusalem City Council, to his duties as a senior member of Chinuch Atzmai.

In the interview, he also discussed the interesting relationship the Rebbe had with his late uncle, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, OBM.

In this week’s Living Torah, Rabbi Leizerson is featured, discussing an amazing story of Ruach Hakodesh with the Rebbe.

how is it possible?
how is it possible that we chassidim (if we truly are that), no matter in what position we find our selves, male, female, old, young, shliach, layman/woman, BT, FFB, shpeetz chabads, chabad light ... etc., ... who hear and live with such stories of our Reebe over and over again, HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT SO OFTEN, ACT TO/WITH one another so disgustingly ... just does not make sense!

Is there anyone out there who can offer an explanation?

@#2 and to myself and everybody els.
Many times the child of wealth can not appreciate what he has while he has it.

but that should not matter to a thinking living alert person,

lets not take for granted our inherited wealth the Rebbe passed onto us, the Rebbe said do all that YOU can do.

"open your eyes" means, learn chassidus.

the straight path to personal and general Geulah, Now!

I hear what you're saying but, 'no seegar" ... this is OUR REBBE! we're talking about! he begged and begged and begged... then, on the other hand, the Ribonoh Shel Oilom, BICHVODO U'VEATZMOI and his guy Moshe Rabaynu (our first Rebbe), had a bit of a problem with our ancestors, even after they saw first hand miracle after amazing miracle! nu, nu ... I guess we'll have wait just little longer for the real anwer... Tishbee Yitarois Kushois V'Abayos ... SOONER THAN LATER!

you are inspired by others. and you inspire others. (for the better or worse.)

bottom line.

only YOU can change YOU.

so when there's a mida or situation that we CAN do something about, "Tishbee Yitarois Kushois V'Abayos ." tis a cop-out.

we must do what we can.

maybe this is the reason you can't view
there are two pictures of the Rabbi, the first is just a photo and the second is the actual video
make sure you scroll down to the second one and click on that.
