1000 men and women, from all segments of the Jewish community in Maryland and the area, are currently attending a memorial to a Chabad Shlucha.
Mrs. Zlata Geisinsky, the 49 year-old co-director of Chabad of Bethesda – Chevy Chase, passed away a month ago leaving the community in shock and tears.
The event is being held at the Sylvia S. Ely Auditorium of the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy in Rockville, Maryland.

Rabbi Shocht touched our souls with his heartfelt talk. Thank You
you are so right.
As someone who was there at the Shloshim, it was incredibly powerful to see the Geisinsky chidren speak. Zlata was certainly looking down with unbelievable nachas to see her children speak with incredible eloquence and dignity. With such sincere Emunah and love. An amazing kiddush Hashem and Kiddush Lubavitch. Beyond description. What a mother she must have been to impart such values and middos to her children. They inspired all who came. Hashem should give them the strength to keep doing what they’re doing and to continue to carry on her legacy.
