its good 2 c happy faces on a crown heights website and not all the rabbi’s angry faces about war war and war, the only thing u read is about politics, it is summer the weather is nice (not in CH) live a little….but b safe!
I live on EP and saw this family posing for a pic in the middle of the road. foolhardy. The great caution someone mentioned? On Eastern Parkway corner Brooklyn, there are approximately 35 seconds betweeen red to green. ( I clocked this) that’s not long enough to set up, pose and get back.
I hope this isn’t going to be the new trend for photography, it’s extremely irresponsible.
to number 59, you’re probably wearing blindfolds yourself, not to see that this is a danger in several ways..
standing there is like standing on the island between the service lanes its 6 feet wide and completely safe to stand on,as long as your careful getting there.

benny’s cover wasn’t photoshopped it was a real picture as was this which was also done with parental supervision. maybe we should be focusing on the hundreds of bochurim and parents who RUN across that same street racing the cars! don’t spend so much time worrying about cute photos taken with caution.

as a proud and great mother i knowthat kids are too young to know that its not safe to walk in the street you must remind your kids every day do we forget so fast what happenes in boro park every day and wiliburg no child should walk on the street or enen in the street alone there have been many assaults recently ibeg you parents stop those kids from hurting themselves

Hasn’t our community been hurt with too many accidents that were avoidable? Shouldn’t safety be paramount in our minds? Please, it is summer time and many accidents occur in the summer. Please pay attention to safety. Better to be too safe than unsafe and regret it!
The cuteness of the kids are irrelevant. We want these kids to remain cute. There are cars coming and you can’t see the other side of the street – behind the photographer. Neither can the photographer see behind him. If you would read the article you would see that it wasn’t photoshopped but the photographer was asked to take this picture. The ‘adult’ photographer should have told the kids that it is unsafe and help them get to a sidewalk safetly and immediately call their parents.

Just shows that the cover on the CD was not a good idea. Singers are a role model for youth and doing something unsafe and putting it on the cover of the CD encourages this unsafe behavior. How many bochurim have gotten hurt over the years crossing Eastern Parkway in the middle of the street?
