An internet sales entrepreneur is donating a new building for a Chabad girls high school in northern Israel.
Ben Federman, owner of 1saleaday.com, will fund the expansion of the educational campus in the Krayot area on the outskirts of Haifa.
Federman is the nephew of Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Oirechman, Director of Chabad in the Haifa Bay area, and the two decided to name the high school in memory of Oirechman’s late wife Mrs. Penina Nava Oirechman OBM, who passed away 2 years ago.
The building will be dedicated to Yitzchak Leib Federman obm, who passed away when Ben was just a young boy, and Federman’s aunt, Denise Mondshein obm.
The school was established last year, quickly attracting girls from the local haredi communities and is considered to hold a high learning standard.
