On Sunday, June 27, 2010 a landmark event took place in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
The town that once boasted “No dogs or Jews allowed” was the location of an authentic Chassidic wedding, the first in the beachside community’s history.
The bride, Eliana Hattaway, and the groom, Mendel Galer met at Chabad at the Beaches.
The Chabad center was packed with 150 joyous celebrants of all ages, delighted to share in the joy of two remarkable members of the community.
Menachem Czarka tried to find the words to describe the experience. “To say this was an extraordinary event is an understatement,” he enthused.
I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there to celebrate with you but MAZEL TOV to both of you from the Broudy family.
Oy Vey!
So happy for you.
