Rhonda Greenberg, a prominent psychologist from Pennsylvania describes her experience at the National Jewish Retreat of the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute.
With well over 500 Jews from thirty-five states and six countries in attendance last year, the National Jewish Retreat saw a record number of participants.
It looks like they will exceed even that this year, their fifth.
“This is unprecedented,” says Boruch Cohen, coordinator of the National Jewish Retreat at JLI’s central office. “To have this many people registered at this point in time.”
Just 192 rooms remain available at the luxurious Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia where the retreat will take place.
The retreat is a once a year learning opportunity. More than 30 Rabbis, Scholars, Professors and Lecturers combine to provide a 5 day experience that empowers participants to make real changes in their lives.
This year’s retreat is running from August the 17th till the 22nd. For more information, visit Jretreat.com

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It is so beautiful to see and hear how you reconnected with all our past generations all the way back to Avraham and Sara. How touching it was to see how your fathers daily tefillin and davening was so instrumental in your life; Mitzva goreres Mitzva. It appears that you will are instumental in influencing others as well. a true Shlucha! Hatzlacha Rabba!
