Yankele you are so photogenic……

Just Asking
May 5, 2010 1:28 am

This definately needs some explaining, its not a home, no one lives there, it is not owned by a Jew. Not to be confused with the horah of the Rebbe for a Jewish patient to keep a Mezuzah in a draw while spending time in a hospital.

Did anyone check Shulchan Aruch?
May 4, 2010 11:04 pm

This seems to completely contradict Shulchan Aruch Y”D 291:2.
Please explain!

wow you guys are amazing.
chabad of the vally rox
always bringing nachas ruach to the rebbe we should all be so lucky to have a director of development like Rabbi Yanky Kahn we should all learn from his warmth and relentless effort to be mekarev every Jew

Sez who?
May 4, 2010 9:50 am

To 5. A private office with a Jewish employee, can have mezuzah in his/her office. NOT ON THE WHOLE BUILDING!
I don’t think it is a good thing for a hospital … A mezuzah is for residences , when people live there for a month (outside of E. Yisroel) Hope that there are not people in a room for more than a month.
Let all cholem be cured forever!

To 2 & 3

When yidden have an office there and yidden are constantly in the building, then yes – its better to have Mezuzah on the Building.
Way to go Yanks!

Nice!

That’s incredibe!

A Need?
May 4, 2010 4:24 am

Is there a need for a Mezuzah in a non Jewish building?

Huh
May 4, 2010 4:11 am

Good public relations ploy, but when does a Catholic person or (a catholic organization) need a mezuzah? Maybe, a mezuzah l’vetalah?
