Two months before 11 Nissan, the boys of Cheder Chabad of Monsey began a project to learn Mishnayos by heart, as a gift to the Rebbe, in honor of the Rebbe’s birthday.
Every week throughout the two month program, prizes were given by raffle to those who were studying lines by heart.
At the completion of the two months the students had collectively learned over 2,000 lines of Mishnayos by heart, with many boys reciting entire Masechtos at once.
On the 7th of Iyar a special assembly was held to distribute seforim as prizes to all of the boys who participated in the program. Some boys earned entire sets of seforim.
