Last night, shocking anti-Semitic graffiti was sprayed on the walls of the Chabad School of Kiev.
The hooligans painted a star of David hanging from a gallow, swastikas and the writing: “Jews Die”, “Happy Holocaust”, and other anti-Semitic epithets and Nazi slogans.
Rabbi Motti Levenhartz, the Chabad Shliach in Kiev, was shocked this morning when he saw the graffiti sprayed on the walls of the school where 750 students attend, and is run by Shluchim from Israel.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Aharonov, Chairman of Agudas Chasidei Chabad in Israel said in response: “We’re not deterred by anti-Semitism. We are confident that the government of Ukraine, headed by the president who has shown goodwill towards the Jews, would do anything to catch the attackers and prevent such acts in the future.”
You know how the bully like to tease the kids that give the best reaction? When we make a whole news sob story about this kind of stupidity it gives them the reaction that they want and they’ll keep on doing it…
We need to take security measures and action behind closed doors and only once we arrest someone that’s when we should put it in the news, not when we’re crying about it helplessly..
