Hundreds of local Jews along with many Jewish and Israeli tourists joined two of Chabad’s public Pesach Seders in the Czech Republic celebrating freedom.
Among those guests was Jan Fischer and his family whom participants recognized as their Prime Minister.
Recognized but not surprised.
A Jew according to Halacha, Fischer is a regular at Chabad events, happily lighting this past Channukah the large Menora Chabad erected in the center of Prague.
Held in a luxurious hotel, Shliach Rabbi Manis Barash and his wife also welcomed the Israeli Consul Shmuel Mica and family.
Rabbi Barash thanked Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch for his help and the bochurim at the Maharal Smicha Institute.
