The Traveling Matzah Bakery, one of the Youth and Outreach programs run out of the Yeshiva Centre – Chabad Headqauerters of NSW, has been visiting Sydney institutions for many years now.
This year the Bakery started its travels on Sunday, March 7 in St Ives, Sydney’s North Shore and has visited different locations every day, doing over 50 shows seen by nearly 1500 children, adults and senior citizens.
The focus of Chabad Youth NSW is to provide Jewish education in an informal way. The Traveling Model Matzah Bakery is one of the activities organized to bring fun and educational activities to the communities.
Other programs include the Traveling Shofar factory, the Torah scribe workshop, Holiday Camps, Festival Guides and Birthday Club.
