Rabbi Shmuel Benjamin‘s class in Oholei Torah celebrated their siddur party this Sunday.
The party began with the children reciting the 12 pesukim. Following that Mr. Shloy Rubinstein addressed the class on behalf of the parents with a story to the children then thanking the teachers and principals in their partnership of educating the children.
The boys said speeches of each of the rabbeim. They also sang a collection of songs. One song they sang thanked the parents for all they do and their constant involvement in their learning.
Rabbi Meir Shimshoni, Principal, spoke about the importance of parent involvement and how this plays a very important part in a child’s success.
He told the childrern how they could now daven for things they want from their very own siddur. Rabbi Shimshoni had interviewed the children previously. One boy had said how he had learnt to read from the megillah and how he followed along with his father in shul on purim.
The parents were asked to rise and give a standing ovation for Rabbi Benjamin.
The Siddur presentations followed. Each boy was treated to pizza, compliments of the Lehrer Family.

Rabbi Benjamin you are the best, may Hashem give you khoach to teach many many more Kinderlach in the future
I was actually there it was an awesome event.I was amazed to see five year olds get up and say speeches and the fact that every single child said a speech was unbelievable and each speech was in yiddish as well. the songs they sang were breathtaking.Even by the siddur presentations each child was given their own recognition.i second the motion of the standing ovation to Rabbi Shimshoni and Rabbi Benjamin for preparing such a professional performance which will surely be an everlasting memory for all the kinderlach.
We love Shalom Kugel and Avrohom Mochkin!!
