Reb Abish Brodt and company singing at the Purim Seudah in Beis Medrash Gevoah in Lakewood with the participation of the Mashgiach Rav Matisyahu Solomon, Rosh Yeshiva Rav Malkiel Kotler and thousands of Talmidem and Lakewood dwellers.

At the 4:00 mark you can see the Mashgiach sining together with Reb Abish “Keili Atah” a Nigun from Baal Hatanya, followed by what is known as “Reb Shlomes Nigun” another Lubavitcher song.

Why did you cry “What a rachmanus on these people” What a rachmanus on you and on most comments here that you need Lubavitch ‘to lead the way’ etc. You talk about achdus etc. but then you call misnagdim “these people’?! In truth what a rachmanus on you that you are living in the past without guidance etc. you missed the boat.

Thank you COL. I watched the Lakewood video and I burst out laughing, and when I finished laughing, I started to cry – what a rachmonus on these people! Ad mosai!

makes me remember what we had at farbreingins with the Rebbe.. please don’t all go off the wall with this statement.. I am entitled to my opinion.. this does remind me of the spirit and achdus I felt at our Rebbe’s farbreingen.. yes, it is not the same but it sure makes me want it back..

That was really interesting to see, does anyone know what those hats are meant to be, like dressed up as? looks like they have a purim dress code rather than costumes, with the littler vizhnits kids wearing red/maroon hats, the older ones white, and the toldos aharon people yellow

Except for the costumes (and “costumes”) it looks just like our Crown Heights. Beautiful simcha. No excesses. Mamash yafutzu. We ARE in the lead!

Kol HaKavod to Avremel Fried who made Lubavitch Nigunnim popular in the Veltishe crowd (as seen clearly in the Lakewood Video).

I like the Toldos Aharon Chassidim who sing Tzomoh without the Russian words…
