Please forgive me Reb Abba but your Mother’s Petirah… evokes from me more memories to share with other “Gezeh Montrealer”…..”gezah” a word that seems to strike a bad cord with some people… in this case it is meant to share with like minded people experiences that only they have been fortunate to experience a sense of a group of people that shared thru the same background of a European Heimshe after the war… feeling ..of community rebuilding and yes not forgetting who we are and where we came from… whether it was Nevel.. or Atvotsk.. What blessings Mrs. Perelmuter brought into this world raising such an amazing family-a true reflection of a good and righteous person. Her positive light and its effect on this world will never pass. My heartfelt sympathies to the entire Perelmuter family!

Plamondon Ave…. Fond memories of a Montreal that is no more… Abba’le Gedenkts?? The Shabboss afternoon in the backyard under the weeping willow tree vu De Veiber hoben farbracht… Mrs Perlmuter Rebetzin Greenglass Yvonne from down the block… and Mrs Caplan.. I agree with Rachelle Sapo’s comment! The picture does bring back fond memories. (Some of them include running through Mr. Ezagui’s shul when they davened upstairs in the front hall of the yeshiva!) What good times!!

And Mrs. Perlmutter’s neshama should takeh have a lichtige gan eiden!

I was sorry to read about your mother’s passing. I remember her fondly as a loving, caring individual.
