NY Daily News
Although the city was battered by a storm that dumped up to 9 inches of snow in some neighborhoods, Mayor Bloomberg said he expects all major streets will be cleared by Thursday morning.
So it’s back to school Thursday for 1.1 million New York public school students, whose day off yesterday was only the third snow day in the past six years.
Calling the storm an “on again, off again affair,” Bloomberg boasted, “It’s fair to say … we’ve done a very good job” of keeping up with the snowfall.
