If a person is hired to commit murder, but the agreed upon payment is not made, can the hired assassin sue for payment in a court of law? As a policy, no court of law would involve themself to enforce such payment, since it is against the purpose of courts and their function for society. Likewise, if A is in illegal possession of drugs, and B destroys them. The courts will not enforce a payment of damages on B for causing A to lose the value of his contraband.
