Who didn’t proceed with the grant? Do you still have all the paperwork? Yes, surely now they would get it.

There WAS a Homeland Security Grant & in fact, my company was asked to see if we could write it for different Mosdos, including some from Florida. Unfortunately, they didn’t proceed.

B”H, no one was hurt, but knowing the Yeshiva I can see how they would qualify, especially now. My recommendation: don’t wait for a grant, invest in security measures before chas v’sholom something terrible happens.

#5 “Parents should be notified” Im not sure you noticed that in every picture a bochur is holding a phone.

They are not babies and know how to get in touch with thier parents when they need to.

for those of us who have children in yeshivas in Fla, this is not humorous or to be minimized….this is rather dangerous and i happened to open this site and then saw this!my child is in another yeshiva but it is not something i want to see first thing.

Security
November 10, 2009 9:25 am

This yeshiva as well as all chabad moisdes need to invest in security cameras and a 24 hour security guard.

With all that is happening around the world, especialy after mumbai it should be the #1 priority to physically secure our safety.

I am sure there should be some kind of homeland security grant or people would sponser

Reporting
November 10, 2009 8:54 am

First of all was it a bullet or an unnidentified objoct? Did the police say nothing? no bullet was found? what exactly happened?
Secondly what is a baby doing at the scene of a (potential) gun-crime???
