We regret to inform you of the untimely passing of long-time Crown Heights resident Dr. Aviva Palgi, OBM. The Levaya will take place today, Tuesday, leaving from Shomrei Hadas at 3:00 pm, and passing by 770 at 3:45 pm. The kvurah will be in Israel. Full Story

It seems like just yesterday that Aviva came to this community with a small son and her father. She knew so many people and yet was a private person. She exemplified what a daughter should be to a parent. Her devotion and concern for her son went beyond the norm. She sincerely showed a personal interest in everyone’s family. She always contributed at gatherings. She loved to attend a simcha or hear about one. She was a regular at the Sterling Street block shiur. If she wasn’t there we knew it.
