A ceremony Thursday night in Crown Heights welcomed the many guests who have come to spend the Tishrei month in New York.
Rabbi Yoel Kahn, the Rebbe’s Choizer and Mashpia of 770, addressed the crowd.
Other speakers included Rabbi Shlomo Segal of Oholei Torah Zal Yeshiva and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Gurevitch of the Migdal Haemek Yeshiva in Israel.
A video with rare footage of the Rebbe was shown.
The event was organized by Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim.
i thought Israelis are the ones that come for free meals! so why is it mostly Americans?
but where are all the thousands of guests that we saw in 770
when was the last time you opened your home to these guests? Try it and let me know how your children feel.
why must you ad a negative note to a nice thing. why not leave well enough alone! maybe if we can see it in our hearts to do that, Hashem will do the same for us.
This is a very nice thing to have done. Hopefully, they also taught them some basic manors and to appreciate what this community is doing for them. Maybe even teach them some of the basics like thank you and can I help…..
