I was one of the nine ‘Musmochim’ that long ago evening; 19th Kislev, 5715; December 5th, 1955. Now, 60 years later, the memory thereof, is still vivid, and very much alive in the mind’s eye of my memory. Much water has since ‘flown under the bridge’; but, the impact, and everlasting effect of that event, has not been swept away. Pedo-DMD.

#6 Hmmmm . So we forget people once they’re gone? No legacies? Wnat about Avrohom Yitzchok Yakov all the way down to the Rebbeiim? Forget them all as well????!!!! The legacies of great men inspire us. Admitedly some are greater than others and have a greater or smaller impact. But without ALL of those legacies to learn from we may be very lax in our own service of G-d. Uhear me?

He was a very special man; I still remember him. Montreal wouldn’t be the same if not for his tremendous work.

What a wondeful and meaningful project for a daughter and grandson to undertake in honour of a truly inspiring person. I did not know the late Rabbi Kramer but my parents talked of him often. I have gone through the linked website and now understand their admiration. What a wonderful ambassador he must have been for Chabad and Judaism in general! Thank you to all involved for sharing this.
