If you will write about it, write an answer, if you are afraid then don’t write at all.

The greatest threat to the Jewish state? There’s a Jewish state? When did this happen?

If you’re talking about Israel, the greatest threat to Israel is Israelis. Come see how 90% of the population is michallel Shabbos and eats treyf and you’ll know why Moshiach hasn’t come. The golus in EY is deeper than anywhere I’ve been r”l!

The contrast between radical Islamists who refuse to integrate into thier host countries because they actually want to over-populate the world …and then what(?! )and us Jews is so striking that in case one doesn’t notice, don’t worry. Hashem is just setting them up to become extinct like all the other cultures throughout history who espoused similar rhetoric toward Jews. It’s the same story since the beginning, and soon the whole world will see what they stand for and what Judiasm stands for. Let’s not sabatoge ourselve’s by coming to their defense. How absurb to even consider it!

I’m also “Chabad’ and I don’t think it was well said – or worthwhile to have been said in this context.

Dovid, good article, the fact is that the agenda of the Jewish people has never been to control and convert the world. one Israel for us yes, we are entitled to it. but to kill and threaten western civilization based on religion this has to be controlled. To persecute against individual customs will only intensify their anger. There has to be some kind of balance that can regain a level of control in society with out having a negative effect on all religions and free rights. The Rebbe always stressed that if only they would put more funding and energy… Read more »

Do you realize that laws against wearing burquas (or building masques) are religious persecution, plain and simple? what would we feel and say if tichels or shietels were prohibited? we are a nation that went through so much of this- and in Europe, too! how can we fail to see the awfulness, the unfairness of such laws?
Laws against radicalism and terrorist preaching could be understood, but this is HORRIBLE.

While most of this article makes sense, this line is perplexing:

“The only exclusively Jewish political movement, Zionism, strove to seek autonomy in a different country, in Israel, never challenging the local authorities.”

The Zionists living in then-Palestine quite definitely challenged the local authorities, the British Mandate, and many of them did so militarily.
