Nicely Written!! Your family must be proud of you!!
I am a working balabus, and I use earplugs to block out the music. Try it, it works and you get used to the feeling in your ears pretty quickly
contrary to the few people who are hating and therefore a bunch of morons

#42 – I completely agree with you.
I go to work at 6am and find this time of year almost impossible. Between the blaring music keeping me up, and the guests coming in and out noisily in middle of the night, we sure aren’t getting enough sleep. I think guests need to realize that while they may be on vacation, many others are not. For us, life continues, work goes on, we can not sleep all day and party all night.
Over the past 16 years, Lubavitch has found many ways to disagree on what the Rebbe wants. It has reached a point where we argue about it through commenting on an event which was created in order to increase in joy. I think it’s time we begin discussing something we all agree on- the idea which the Rebbe lived for- “Ahavas Israel!” I know it may not be as exciting for some or action-filled for others, but it’s safe to say it is what we all should be working towards. We can all agree that arguing about Yechi won’t bring… Read more »

#42 The rebbe started this, if you have any disagreements, your talking to the wrong people.

I hope your or for that matter any guest dont read your msg its abit rood!!
Yes, it’s great! the music’s great! and the dancing’s great! But how much more wonderful it would be if the music was loud enough for the dancing, yet controlled enough so tghat the rest of us who have to get up at 7 to go to a day’s work, and then come home to make supper for all our guests who slept all day from the dancing all night…it would be oh so nice if we could get a few hours sleep. There is no need for us to be hearing the huge volume of music all the way down… Read more »
the best out there!!!
I love chabad
Let me quote Maimonidies (Yom Tov 6:21) & Shulchan Aruch (Orach Chaim 529:4) “Beis Din is required to appoint policemen during the Holiday to patrol, search & prevent the mingling of men and women”.
we should ask our new Vad to put the Taruvis ppl in chairim its unacceptable for jewish people and our comunity.

Well done tonight!

the dancing and the music is great!! There Needs to be some crowd control the “TARUVOS” is really bad..
Please remember that a nice amount of money is being put into this event and someone need to cover it.
Please give whatever your could to R’ Yisroel Shemtov (from the store on Kingston and Empire). He needs to pay for the stage, music, etc. etc.
A gut moed
Just came back from there – good music. They played Yechi (but didn’t sing – I guess a compromise). At first I noticed only Aussie and S. African flags in the middle, and thought it ironic that there should only be those and not Moshiach ones! I thought it would be far better to LIMIT or control the flags. ANYWAY, afterwards I saw lots of Moshiach flags…. so not sure what was going on… Anyway, great spirits and seemed to be very peaceful… Shkoach! We should merit to dance in streets of Yerushalayim with the Rebbe and the full Geula… Read more »
