Lubavitch Youth Organization (Tzach / LYO) in New York is making its final preparations for a grand Mivtza Lulav campaign for 5771 — This Sukkos, take your family on Mivtza Lulav.
This follows the Rebbe’s initiative that during the days of Sukkos everyone should go out and give every Yid a chance to shake the Lulav and Esrog.
Tzach will be opening a Mivtza Lulav Center where people can come to receive pre-arranged Mivtzaim locations in the New York area that have a high concentration of Yidden, including office and apartment buildings, populated streets and intersections, old age homes, and hospitals.
Mivtzoim materials (guides, etc.) will be available as well.
Conveniently located near the train station, the center will be set up at 305 Kingston Ave. (at the Levi Yitzchok Library) and will be open on Chol Hamoed – Sunday through Tuesday , from 10am until 4pm.
All members of the Crown Heights community are urged to take part in this project, whether it is to dedicate an hour or two for Mivtza Lulav, or simply to take Mivtzoim materials along on your Chol Hamoed outings, so we can ensure that the Rebbe’s directives are fulfilled and we reach as many Yidden as we possibly can.

if i were married with kids, and lived in ch, i would really appreciate this opportunity to teach the kids mivtzoim firsthand!
but since i am neither married (and therefore dont have a lulav and esrog…), nor am i in ch for yomtov, i really hope others will take advantage and go on mivtzoim!!!!!!!!!!
Super idea for a family project & giving the Rebbe such Nachass!!
